To purchase a paid application, you will also require a PayPal® account. 

System Requirements

To ensure that your BlackBerry smartphone will support BlackBerry App World, it must have the following:
• BlackBerry® Device Software v 4.5 or higher. (Click "options", then "about" from your smartphone to check your version).
• Enough memory on your BlackBerry device or Micro SD card.
• A service plan that includes access to the BlackBerry® Browser.

Download BlackBerry App World to Your Smartphone

BlackBerry App World™ is an application you can download and access from your BlackBerry smartphone’s home screen. Install it, and then choose some apps. 

From your BlackBerry smartphone:

 Visit www.blackberry.com/appworld/download from your smartphone to download. Or, enter an email address that’s integrated with your BlackBerry smartphone below and click submit to have a download link sent to you.

If you have BlackBerry Device Software v. 4.6 or higher you can also try to remove your battery and SIM card and restart your device. You can click on the BlackBerry Appworld icon that appears on your screen for downloading.
