New subscription fee and calling rates for Telefásil phone service
UTS Management announces that in agreement with Bureau Telecommunication and Post and the Minister of Traffic and Transportation, approval has been obtained to introduce the following changes that are applicable for the fixed prepaid phone service known as Telefásil starting December 1, 2009:
- Basic subscription fee per Telefásil connection will be introduced at ANG 25,- per month.
- This basic fee includes 20 free minutes of local calls per month, from one fixed phone to another fixed phone.
- Rates for prepaid (=Telefásil) and a postpaid phone service will be the same. A local call from one fixed phone to another fixed phone will now cost ANG 0.16 per call (call completion) and ANG 0.04 per minute. This rate is applicable during 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
- The Telefásil rate for calls to a cell phone has been reduced to ANG 0.50 per minute.
- Together with these changes, UTS offers its Telefásil customers who pay their basic fee on time, the opportunity to call locally for FREE and UNLIMITED from one fixed phone to another fixed phone during social hours. This offer is valid from January 1, 2010 till February 28, 2010. Social hours are valid from Monday till Friday from 7 o’clock in the evening till 7 o’clock in the morning.
- The basic fee of ANG 25,- per month will be charged via invoice. The first invoice will be sent out at the beginning of December and reflects the rental of your Telefásil service for the month of December. Payment of this invoice must be effected before January 1st, 2010.
- Payment of the invoice can be made through a bank transfer or at any location that offers the Pagafásil or Pagomátiko service, and at our UTS Stores at Punda, Sta. Rosa, Sta. Maria and at our UTS paypoint at Brievengat.
- If the first payment is not received before January 1st, 2010, a line surcharge of ANG 0.60 per minute on local Telefásil calls will be charged. Furthermore, you will no longer be able to place international calls.
- If all basic fees that are due are not paid by the end of March 2010, UTS will disconnect your Telefásil service as per April 1st, 2010.
